Initial Setup

Some users may need to perform a couple initial settings changes prior to using certain features within Weld Builder.

These settings are located on the last section of the home page under Setup.

General Settings

• App “X” Button Action

  

  It is possible to customize the functionality of the [ X ] button to your own preferences.
  • Close: Closes the Weld Builder application.
  • Back: Navigates back to the previous page.

Weld Advisor Settings

• Culture:
  Depending on the selected culture, region-specific terms are displayed when entering weld joint data.

• Joint Dimension Units:
  Determines the unit system used within the Weld Advisor for input of joint dimensions.
